The Dynamic Proficiency in Computer Applications is a comprehensive three-semester course designed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in computer applications across various domains. This program equips participants with a strong foundation in fundamental computing, graphic design, web development, and networking.
The first semester covers essential computer skills, starting with the Fundamentals of Computers and the Windows Operating System, ensuring a solid understanding of computer hardware and software. Participants will gain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word for word processing, Excel for spreadsheets, PowerPoint for presentations, and Email and Internet for communication and online research. The semester also introduces Multimedia basics and foundational Tally for accounting.
The second semester focuses on Graphics Design, using industry-standard tools to create and manipulate visual content. Students will gain hands-on experience with PageMaker, FreeHand, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Image Ready. This semester includes a project work component where students apply their design skills to real-world scenarios.
The third semester delves into Networking and Internet Concepts, providing an understanding of network fundamentals and internet technologies. Students will advance their skills in Photoshop with more complex techniques, and learn web development technologies, including HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The semester culminates in a project work that integrates these skills to build functional web applications.
